Vice President, Sales - US Market (6064G)

LOCATION: SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

Our client has created a security platform that guarantees applications are tamper proof, logic is concealed, and remains safe. The successful candidate will grow the organization, build the sales process and infrastructure, and build sales strategy for the US market.

This will initially be a work from home or a work out of a co-working space opportunity.
Inside and outside sales with domestic travel TBD. Occasional international travel.

Candidates must have:
Worked in the App Security market
A good degree of technical knowledge, know the lingo well
Knowledge of the overall security / development stack
Strong knowledge of the cyber security market- in particular Web and App Security
Previous experience or desire to work in a Start-Up environment

Description

•    Develop a sales channel strategic plan that defines immediate and long-term strategy for success including penetrating existing markets, entry into new markets and outpacing our competition
•    Effectively translates the strategic plan into daily, weekly, monthly and annual routines that ensure goals are achieved, clients are satisfied and the team is highly engaged. 
•    Develop a high performance team to include: scouting talent, selection, on-boarding, developing and motivating sales team to drive consistent results and high employee engagement
•    Be a thought leader to engender client confidence and engagement through regular communication that results in improving customer satisfaction and expanding revenues
•    Work closely with internal partners to measurably add value for the sales team and our clients
•    Support and reinforce the strategic sales principles defined within the sales channel 
•    Provides strategic direction and tactical insights to improve sales force productivity
•    Perform management functions in the area of but not limited to accurate pipeline management, monthly reporting, and region tracking

Qualifications

•    BS / BA Degree required in computer sciences, business, or similar
•    5 -7 years successful sales leadership experience 
•    Proven history of exceeding performance targets from an existing client base and gaining new clients
•    Demonstrable intellectual horsepower through ongoing industry and leadership learning and application
•    Strong passion for driving results, maneuvering through obstacles and securing competitive takeaways 
•    Motivated to coach others to succeed in role
•    Ability to establish consultative business relationships with existing and new senior level clients
