Our client has developed a more effective and simple personal financial management software solution compared to most well known alternatives. This product line provides users with a more practical, easier, time-efficient and affordable solution to organize, manage and control household and personal finances than any product on the market. The company has customer commitments and is embarking on strategic alliances with financial service providers, professional associations and well known social and community-based network providers.
Reporting to the CEO, this position will be responsible for developing, implementing and executing capitalization and funding initiatives, branding strategies, advertising and promotion campaigns, market research and strategic alliance initiatives. The position holds responsibility for all areas of sales and marketing.
Job Function:
Working with CEO to leverage relationships with angel and early-stage investors to secure seed-stage funding. Develop, leverage and execute capitalization plan based upon experiences and relationships with venture capital community. Develop and initiate strategic alliances and joint-venture relationships. Implement and execute customer acquisition, revenue and pricing models. Build revenue-sharing alliances with community & social-based network providers (Twitter, Facebook, Google Apps, Regroup.com, etc.). Establish a world-class marketing and business development organization leveraging current strengths and making improvements where necessary; devise presentations; establish and drive branding strategies; focus on sustainable and innovative marketing strategies, including viral and guerrilla marketing methods.
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years (or equivalent) experience of marketing technology for a SaaS-based organization. Minimum 5 years of applicable management experience of building and scaling a SaaS marketing organization through a rapid phase of growth. Successfully taken at least one startup from initial fund raising through exit strategy. Extensive experience in fund raising through seed-stage, angel and venture capital investors and taken at least one startup from initial funding through exit strategy. Marketing and sales of software solutions through direct sales, channel partners and alternative distribution models. Successful attainment of increased revenues via revenue-sharing agreements with alliances. Successfully created, implemented and maintained aggressive marketing program with limited initial resources for a SaaS product. Prior experience in marketing personal financial software is highly desired.
