Our client is an innovative and successful clinical reference laboratory with a state-of-the-art software that analyzes blood lipids to diagnose risk, and produces a highly customized cardiovascular treatment recommendation report. An improvement on competitors, their software algorithms are very sophisticated and raise the bar for patient care and treatment. Rather than selling lab services like competitors, their business model is to license the software directly to doctors, laboratories and hospitals so that their patients can get their results much faster via their own labs (two days vs. up to two weeks when sending it to another lab). Because this is such a lucrative market, it will add an additional significant revenue stream to their customers’ bottom line. The model is a win-win all around – patients get much faster turnaround and highly personalized recommendations for treatment that gives them a better health outcome, doctors get very specific information to use in treating their patients, and labs and hospitals get a new in-house source of significant revenue. The company is established, and already has agreements with several hospital groups and labs across the United States. They know that this solution is so simple, and has such great bottom-line profits that once you are talking to the right people, it is very easy to sell. We are looking for an outstanding and seasoned sales executive who head up this new effort. Reporting to the CEO, you will be tasked with initiating contact with senior executives and decision-makers of reference labs and hospitals to introduce this new software and service, and then once sold, making sure the software gets set up correctly, and then training their sales force in how to sell it to their clients. This is an incredible opportunity for a talented and experience cardio or lab sales executive and sales manager. We are looking for a superstar here, and you MUST have the following: - Experience in the cardiology market, preferably coming from a competitor in the cardiovascular field. - Outstanding sales skills and a great track record; we are looking for a closer who is driven to persuade and succeed; you must be a top-tier performer. - The ability to really listen to customers, to tailor your presentation to their needs, and to build strong relationships of trust. - Ideally, you will have current relationships and contacts with leading reference labs and hospitals. - The ability to work independently and generate your own leads, contacts, appointments and schedule. - Integrity, honesty and a sense of groundedness. - Ideally, you would live in California, but you really can live anywhere if you are the right person; you will be traveling a great deal as part of the sales process, and staying up to a week to train at a client’s location to get your new customers fully operational. - You will be a bag-carrying salesperson, but you also need to have experience in building and managing a team as the company grows and you hire more talent for your sales team. Compensation is very flexible for the right person, and will be a combination of base salary with a very generous commission structure that should easily put your earnings over $300K in the first year. The company is poised for very rapid growth, and your success will reap great financial rewards. If this sounds like the opportunity you are ready for, and you fit the criteria, we would love to hear from you right away. Please send your resume, along with a cover note that highlights your experience in the cardiology diagnostic world, to leslie@peopleconnectstaffing.com right away.
