Our client is an early stage startup that has developed a suite of tools to allow you to manage your data faster and simpler. We are looking for a Software Testing and Customer Support Technician who will offer the below skills and talents to our client.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Proficiency/experience with database software such as MS Access or FileMaker, Excel/spreadsheets; HTML, and some experience with scripting or programming languages. • Some exposure to white box testing, especially around Flash applications, Java and MySQL, and ability to set up automated UI tests in a complex Flash application • Highly responsive, committed to success in an exciting fast-paced startup environment, team player.
Responsibilities:
• Understand product requirements • Create and execute functional software test plans • Manage defect tracking and reporting • Provide rapid support to users reporting quality and usability problems • Contribute to user documentation and pre-built applications • Closely coordinate with engineering and product management on quality and usability.
Qualifications:
• BA/BS degree • 5+ years experience with software testing, Q/A and support • Excellent problem solver • Ability to write detailed test plans • Excellent written communication for writing detailed test plans, bug reporting, customer support and documentation.
