To make this company even stronger, they are seeking an outstanding Senior Architect. The ideal candidate will be a risk taker, looking to join a team of highly creative and hardworking group that likes to have fun. This person will be willing to put some skin in the game for a high reward. The ideal candidate will have experience and be doing the following: • Develop a world-class, scalable SaaS architecture, capable of supporting multiple license models. • Assume the role of chief architect for in-progress suite of world-class software service solutions. • In the future, build and manage a small team of onsite and offshore software architects, developers and contractors. • Drive product lifecycle planning, release and platform technical support teams. • Work directly with senior executive leadership and investors to drive product, platform and support decisions. • Build a world-class technical environment and culture that motivates and retains exceptional talent in leading edge technologies. • Innovative and quality focused. You will need: • 15 + years experience in enterprise or market leading internet commerce. • At least 5-7 years experience in executive or senior technical positions. • Proven product development, ship and support track record. • Experience working with remote teams and offshore contractors. • Experienced in developing scalable online or SaaS architectures. • In-depth work with C#, Java, MySQL, AJAX, and related software/languages. • Solid understanding of clouding computing. • To be highly motivated and driven to excellence.
