Our client is a new and innovative start-up in the emerging field of Social TV. They are the first company to develop middleware application for home entertainment, taking social networking to the next level. Their patent-pending applications work with existing DVR/Set-Top Box hardware and operating systems to add telephony control, device management, and social TV enabling functionality. This is an opportunity to work with founders who are both visionaries and veterans in this industry. They are looking for a Sales Star to establish new business with Tier-1 and Tier-2 service providers in the areas of cable, dish, satellite and web. You will be tasked with getting in the door to make presentations, generate excitement about the product and, most importantly, close the deals. Reporting directly to the CMO you will own the role of establishing key business for the clients to help drive revenue and show investors that the market wants a new level of social networking. As you sign on accounts, you will also be tasked with managing the accounts to ensure continued business. Your background must include not just having a ready-to-go list of contacts, but successfully closing deals with Tier-1 and Tier-2 service providers. You must be comfortable in a true start-up where you have developed new directions and opportunities without an established structure or process. An understanding and passion for social networking is a must. You must also have a proven track record of maintaining relationships and service levels with your customers.
