SAN FRANCISCO, CA
Our client is an early stage startup with a cloud-based digital asset management solution that allows enterprises to share videos and other rich media on demand. Whether it is an ad agency that needs to share videos of work in progress with their people across the globe, or a corporate HR department wanting a custom portal to offer training and syndicated content with internal teams, this solution is state of the art and the only cloud-based choice in the space.

Their development team has created a seriously great product that is impressive, easy to demo, and simple to use and to sell. They already have several high profile paying customers on board, and have begun to partner with some of the biggest names in technology.

Next they need a talented and connected Director of Sales to come on board and begin opening new doors and signing new clients. This market has huge potential, and the right sales leader is key.

You are a very savvy enterprise sales pro coming out of the SaaS or cloud space with a great current Rolodex of relationships and strong contacts with major enterprise accounts. Early success in a big company’s sales training program is fantastic, but we are also looking for entrepreneurial spirit. So you also need to be currently in the startup space and understand the different nature, timing and roll-up-your-sleeves nature of a startup.

Most of all, you need to be a strategic and creative salesperson. You are self-directed and self-motivated, and a real sales hunter, and you know where to find the business, and can close it and bring it home.

This is a great chance to get in on the ground floor of a very high-potential company with a stellar management team. Right now, they are looking for another round of financing, and we are looking for someone who is confident enough in their sales talents to come in for a base salary with a big upside in commissions and equity. The office is based in San Francisco, and their first target clients are here as well; so you need to be in the Bay Area already.
