Our client is a startup company providing online services in the healthcare industry. They offer cutting edge services in areas of cost savings to providers, expediting insurance payments and finger tip access to and for patients. Competition is very limited in this niche market. Are you passionate about understanding customers and translating their needs into features? As Director of Product, you will lead our product management efforts. Responsibilities: • Lead customer development efforts to understand user needs. • Write clear and detailed specifications. • Prioritize features and bugs. • Plan and update our product roadmap. • Evaluate potential product partnerships. • Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a stellar product team. • Refine our product process. Skills: • 5+ years experience as a product manager • 2+ years experience managing product teams • Experience founding or working early at a web startup • Technical skills such as running SQL queries or basic HTML are desirable. • Interested in both writing specs and managing product managers. • Strong work ethic. • Intellectually honest. • Collaborative and fun to work with. • Excited about helping people. • Relentlessly resourceful. • Degree desired, but not required.
