They offer cutting edge services in areas of cost savings to providers, expediting insurance payments and finger tip access to and for patients. Competition is very limited in this niche market. Are you passionate about building web technology and inspired to help others? As Director of Engineering, you will lead all engineering efforts. Responsibilities: • Recruit, train, manage, and motivate a rockstar engineering team. • Design and scale our architecture. • Create agile process to iterate quickly and consistently. • Help product management evaluate feature trade-offs. • Ensure security of health records, including management of site audits. • Seamlessly integrate multiple technology vendors. • Evangelize our product to the larger development community. Skills: • 5+ years experience in web development/engineering. • 2+ years experience managing engineering teams. • Experience with Ruby on Rails and open source code highly desired. • Experience with Flash, Ajax, MySQL or Python a plus. • Experience founding or working early at a web startup. • Interested in both actual coding and managing engineers. • Strong work ethic. • Intellectually honest. • Collaborative and fun to work with. • Excited about helping people. • Relentlessly resourceful. • Degree a plus.
