SOUTH BAY, CA OR SAN JOSE, CA
Our client is an established semiconductor hardware distributor with major clients around the globe. They are looking for a Vice President of Sales who is a true road warrior with strong strategic skills and equally, if not stronger, hands-on sales skills. This opportunity is not for the faint-hearted.

In this role, you will manage a group of sales reps whose key role is generating and qualifying leads. You will be tasked with closing those leads, as well as bringing in new business for the company. On average, you will be traveling 3 days a week, so you must love being on the road, getting in front of customers and closing deals. You will be selling to senior level, including C-level, management in the semiconductor industries. These are Ph.D. level individuals; so, while you will have engineers with you, you must be able to speak to them and understand and anticipate their questions and needs.

The ideal candidate is:

• A true road warrior, able to travel extensively throughout North America.
• Someone who has an executive-wide view of the business.
• A hands-on sales executive who is passionate about getting in front of the customer and closing deals.
• Someone who has a strong track record of bringing in new business and growing revenue.
• Someone who is also able to maintain current business and revenue.
• Someone extremely organized and efficient, able to work effectively out of the office and still manage a team spread out across North America.
• Someone with a technical aptitude and understanding of the semiconductor industry.
• Able to speak to senior level engineers and technical executives.

This is an opportunity to extensively increase business and revenue for an already successful organization. If you bring in significant revenue stream, you could create the need to bring in Account Managers and manage the organization’s growth.
