A prestigious international school with new buildings in Boston is seeking a Senior Business Analyst.  This role spans all phases of a project through the point of deployment and roll out to the end solution.  The Business Analyst is the conduit between business and the software team, making sure that the business team understands the software and the future needs.  The Business Analyst will clarify and analyze the process, determine where the problems are, and where the business needs guidance.

Responsibilities:

•    Gathering and analyzing business requirements and reporting to the software development team;
•    Conducting testing activities with the business team members;
•    Support project management in the areas of scoping and end user training;
•    Responsible for the US operations, including travel to 7 locations in the US to oversee the projects.

Experience:

•    5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst in software development;
•    Business skills and familiarity with technical processes;
•    Work in education is a bonus;
•    Prior work with financial systems;
•    Exemplary communications skills: ability to influence and lead;
•    Ability to deliver informative, well organized presentations;
•    Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
