The Director Sales role is all about building the sales roadmap, pricing structure, sales compensation program, client to engineering feedback process and a stellar sales force. Bringing winning startup sales experience, you will initially be following up on leads, closing deals, while developing the foundation for a highly motivated sales team. This position reports to the CEO/Founder of the company.
Prior experience selling Enterprise class products is critical. You will enjoy the product side of technology with a strong ability to convey client/customer feedback to the engineer/development team, skilled in both an individual contributor role, able to build long-term relationships with clients, and a leadership role of other sales people.
You will have 5 to 7 years of sales experience in technology sales, with a minimum of 3 years in a startup and/or small company. Having led a winning startup or small business sales team is a must. In addition, you have experience in hiring Sales Development Representatives (SDRs), building sustainable sales compensation programs, and developing successful scalable sales plans.
This position is located on-site at the client’s place of business in San Francisco, CA. No relocation or sponsorship is available.
