You will own the full lifecycle of software development: from problem definition, through planning and prototyping, followed by development and testing, and continuing with enhancements and new features. Duties: • Lead and expand the existing engineering team; identify new talent; manage, mentor & retain all members of the team. • Maintain efficient technical systems that enable us to run at high gross margin. • Participate as a leader to define and implement product roadmap. • Maintain culture, set up recruiting strategies, implement process to allow scale and, ultimately, create the best engineering organization. • Continually improve and optimize the product development process. • Work closely with product and operations teams and company leaders to ensure the technology platform is evolving to meet company needs. • Help set the technical direction for the team, drive the evolution of the systems architecture, and make appropriate technology choices. • Set and manage expectations, communicate and execute goals within timelines.
