VP, Marketing - online advisory & learning (7053K)


Our client is a funded Palo Alto Start-Up with a SaaS, AI on-line platform targeted at enterprise, Fortune1000 brands through custom advisory and learning online interaction with leading global experts.

In addition, industry thought leader executives and business professionals are targeted with an online subscription model via a community model. The company’s business model and AI platform are a highly disruptive approach to innovation, research and learning on a global basis.

Who they are looking for:

Currently, you may be a manager or director looking to take the step into a VP Marketing role. Experience in marketing online learning/education programs such as Udemy.com, Lynda.com, , or other similar companies is a plus.

You will be a creative, results driven marketing professional in the Palo Alto area who is experienced in growth hacking and community building to proactively attracting thought leaders via phone, email, ads, and social platforms. As a self-motivated innovator you will work with Product, Operations, and Sales to develop, test, and refine our marketing approach.

You will hands on, be able to prove that you have the marketing savvy and skills to make this a successful position within this fast growing company.

What you will do as VP, Marketing: • Lead and manage a marketing team that is creative, innovative and driven • Lead, develop and implement digital marketing campaigns to meet company business and sales objectives • In addition to the strategic side, they need you to lead daily marketing tactics • Create landing pages, email campaigns, and workflows that align with the company goals • Create and drive campaign initiatives for lead generation and community building • Report on campaign performance to executives – high level visibility! • Manage inbound marketing efforts including converting website visitors into leads and customers – deliver on what you and the company envision! • Set up and run email marketing campaigns including nurture streams • Set up lead scoring to pass Marketing Qualified Leads to sales • Strong people and communication skills • Comfortable working in a breakneck speed environment.

What you will bring to the client as VP, Marketing • 3 to 5 years’ work experience in marketing management. • History of creating targeted advertising campaigns: SEM, Facebook ads, Craigslist, etc. • Experience with marketing automation tools (Hubspot preferred) • Experience with fast copywriting for emails, landing pages, and ads • Ability to nurture client-relationship models • Experience writing, proofreading, and providing quality control • Highly organized attitude and approach • Process and detail oriented skills to create and deliver effective campaigns • Tech savvy attitude • Hubspot certification a plus • HTML/CSS skills a plus
