We are looking for a passionate technical program manager to direct and take over software integration projects.
Our Client is a leader in software for the digital supply chain, enabling companies to have the confidence that their intellectual property, processes, and products are both secure and aligned with established engineering standards. Their solution enables security, repeatability, traceability and quality in digital distributed manufacturing. Their software protects and standardizes digital assets, coupling them with enforceable business and production policy, facilitating secure digital distribution, and providing manufacturing integrity.
The KEY responsibilities will include gathering requirements, working with architects to gather requirements, working with customers and partners to learn feature sets, creating program roadmaps, and documenting roadmaps, documenting project outlines, and providing feedback to engineering teams responsible for design and implementation.
Responsibilities of the Software Product Manager • Explore partner software to determine best way to integrate their products • Collect requirements from both internal and customer sources • Produce specifications and determine operational feasibility • Identify open source and/or commercial components to leverage into projects • Generate program roadmap and project timeline • Work with customers to ensure all needed functionality is present • Collaborate with engineering management to set priorities and review implementation.
Requirements of the Software Product Manager • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or Engineering • 5-10 years of work experience in as a software engineer and/or technical program manager • Ability to come up with creative solutions and build them into technical projects • Working knowledge of integration techniques into involving established APIs • Experience with Windows and Linux programming environments for C++ and Java • Experience with network and cloud product environments • Knowledge of security concepts • Knowledge of best software practices for developing enterprise software • Ability to document requirements and specifications • Customer friendly personality and experience in managing external relationships
It would be great if you had: • Domain experience in CAD, PLM, CAM, and/or 3D Printing • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
