Operations Assistant (8082AG)

LOCATION: NEW YORK

Our client is an up and coming apparel startup in NYC. They are looking for a strong Operations Associate to join their growing team…someone who is a self-starter, well organized, who may not have an MBA but does have a GSD…Gets Stuff Done!

What you will do:

  • Be the right-hand person to the CEO
  • Managing relationships with key warehouse and operation-al vendors
  • Reviewing and approving all operational invoices and en-sure they are submitted for payment
  • Serving as primary point of contact when there are cus-tomer issues related to product quality, customer service, etc.
  • Monthly sales reporting and recap
  • Light graphic design work
  • Managing retail and wholesale partnerships
  • Assisting in managing/organizing photo shoots
  • Working with the web developer/designer to increase web-site conversion and sales
  • Plus a lot more exciting things

What you need to have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • 1-3 years of operations experience
  • Strategic thinking skills and proven experience generating original ideas
  • Passion about sports and athletic apparel in general
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a high degree of independence
  • Solid analytical skills, and a proficiency with using data to make sound recommendations affecting business deci-sions and results
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Stellar communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign a plus
